Please be aware that in addition to the phlebotomy (blood sample) service provided by Tettenhall Medical Practice, our patients also have access to a local Phlebotomy service held at a variety of clinics.
Patients will need their NHS Number and a mobile phone number – an SMS text message confirming the appointment will be sent to the mobile number provided. Anyone can book on their behalf.
- URGENT blood tests should be booked within 48 hours
- FASTING blood tests should be booked for an early morning appointment ideally before 10am
- PRE TREATMENT blood tests should be booked at least 7 days prior to treatment/outpatient appointment date
- ROUTINE blood tests should be booked into the next available appointment slot at the chosen venue

The help line number is available for anyone having difficulty using the online system or those patients who genuinely don’t have that option; the number is operational 7 days a week between 8am and 10pm – lines are likely to be quieter outside of ‘office hours’.
